Garden Snail Perler

$19.00

I made this snail based upon our own pet snail at the time. There’s a cute story behind her if you’re interested.

6 inches tall by 9 inches wide

Great for hanging on the wall, or attaching a magnet to to put on the fridge! I like hanging them on the walls utilizing mounting putty!

Size may vary some due to the way each individual set is ironed.

Cute Story: I was driving on campus, and I saw the strangest looking “acorn” on the hood of my car. I was kind of looking while heading to class, when the “acorn” moved, and a little snail head popped out on the other side of it. That’s when I realized in wasn’t an acorn at all, but a cute snail! I had no idea where it came from, but from then on I was on a mission to help the snail.

I went into the accommodations office on campus to see if they had a Tupperware and some wet paper towels I could transport them on to keep them hydrated and such while I figured out what to do with the snail and tried to figure out where they came from. I left with her in a tiny bucket on some wet paper towels. I ended up home with them later that day, and my partner and I couldn’t figure out how they had gotten onto my car.

At that point we decided that we would build them a terrarium to keep them safe. We even got them isopods and things to make their little terrarium bioactive. They lived their best life with us for years, and we named them Karlach. We still have the isopods they lived with and take care of them to this day.
