Who we are…

Hello! My name is Aria (they/them), and I am a LGBTQ+, neurodivergent, and chronically ill artist. I draw the stickers and other art you see on the website. Additionally, I create art with Perler beads. I also do multiple different forms of art, with mediums such as beads, clay, paper, fabric, and vinyl. art, clay art, and collect postcards, plushies, rocks, natural things like bones, fallen birds’ nests, and mushrooms. I love music, animals, plants, people, and learning new things.

Hi! My name is Corey. I am an LGBTQ+, neurodivergent individual with chronic pain. I do Perler art, cross stitch, and origami, and enjoy learning and creating different crafts. I also collect postcards, pins, and tiny jars of sand from different places. I love animals, plants, and Aria.

Together, we decided to start a store to sell art. Mainly based on Aria’s art at first, but we expanded as I joined in on some of the crafty hobbies.

We chose the name “The Goblin Market” because of a book in the Wayward Children’s Series by Seanan McGuire, In an Absent Dream. It is Aria’s favorite book in the series, and features a place known as “The Goblin Market” where everything is based on fair value. Seanan McGuire shares an excerpt of a poem at the beginning of the book, which I believe was her inspiration for the name of the market. I would like to share it here as it is an older poem, and I quite enjoyed that as well.
